SNOW

Is it summer yet?!?

Snow Day!

Most 6 year olds don't get a playdate with 3 teenage girls and 1 old lady (also known as Annie), but that is just a typical SNOW DAY around here :)

February 5...Jake's 6th Birthday!

Well the night didn't go exactly as planned. We were going to go to Pizza Hut and then have a little cake at home for Jake's birthday, but Drew was feeling really bad and we needed to take him to the dr. Jake wasn't real happy about this! Nana and Papa took Jake to Pizza Hut while Jason and I ran Drew to the dr. We still had a little Scooby Doo cake for Jake when we got back. Then later that night Jake was sick and so began our 4 weeks of sick kids!

Sick...

Once again this household is sick :( Drew first had the flu, then croup, and finally pneumonia. We were at the dr. office 3 times in five days. The chest xray showed that he is getting better. We will continue with his antibiotic, steroids and breathing treatments until we get passed this. Is it summer yet?!?

Monster Jam

We got tickets to Monster Jam in Indy for Jake's birthday, but Drew was more impressed than Jake was...Jake could have stayed in the hotel and swam :)

Happy 6th Birthday Jake!

Jake turns 6 on Feb. 5...truthfully I can not believe that 5 years have come and gone, it just doesn't seem possible! Now, 62 pounds and several feet later this little boy is 6!!! I made this slide of the first 6 months of Jake's life.

So buddy...after 5 years I would say this to you...Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade-winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."
Ok, I stole it from Mark Twain, but I believe in it and I believe in YOU...love you so much buddy!!!
