After about 5 hours in the Plymouth ER and a transfer up to St. Joe hospital we found out that Drew has a spiral break to his right femur. This is not exactly the cast I had pictured in my mind when we found out he had a broken bone. There were lots of tears (from mommy and Drew) when we found out he would need a hip spica cast and I quote the surgeon "Life is going to suck!" So this is our life for the next 8 weeks, at least it is temporary and fixable!
